Default Excited: Lifting next week!

Ordered the Rusty's Offroad 3" lift kit with new springs, 1" Transfer Case Drop Kit, and just ordered an Adjustable Track Bar. I plan on getting new shackles and shackle bolts and new bolts for where the springs mount to the body.

Am I missing anything? Do I need new nuts/bolts for the front end where the shocks mount? I'm installing on a 98 XJ with 327,000 miles, still going strong.

I'll be sure to throw some pics up as soon as it's done and aligned!

why a transfer case drop at 3"? you should get longer lower control arms or adjustables, and don't be surprised if you have to cut some control arm bolts too. Shackle relocation brackets are a good investment too.

X2

But I don't think you'll need longer control arms for only 3 inches.

You do not NEED longer control arms but if you buy some adjustable ones down the road and put em on they will help out with flex. Plus if you go adjustable and you decide to add a bit more lift your arms will still work.
