Default everyones opinion on my light bars?

i made them myself and i cant choose which one i like better. first there is this one

its got 8 cheapie 55watt fog lights and with the switch panel i made i can turn 2 lights on at a time. with my front bumper lights (that are 55watts a piece) i have a total of 550watts. there are no covers for the lights.

here is my second option:

its got 4 hella 100watt spot lights and with the switch panel i made i can turn each light on individually. with my front bumpers light i have a total of 510watts. the lights have covers and altho they say "baja" and "subaru" (i blacked out subaru lol) they are hella 100 watt-ers

im leaning more toward the 8 cheapies, althought it doesnt match my front bumper, it is alot more power and i think it gives it cleaner look.

and just for kicks here is the switch panel i made. it looks factory.

what if you mix them? keep the first setup but put a hella on each of the ends. so leave the 4 cheaps and keep two of the hellas on the sides. haha then take the 4 cheapo ones that you took off and mount them on the back of the rack. and if you really want more then mount the two remaining hellas on the cowl, or each side of the hood.

are you exploring deep dark caves with your XJ? haha. just messin, thats a lot of lights though.

as for looks, i'd say go with the second setup, or if you really like the first one maybe tone it down to about 4 of the small rectangular lights, just a thought.

Without covers for the smaller rectangle lights they may not be street legal, I believe in some states any lights above the hood are required to be covered while driving on the road.

i like the first one. if you go with the second one, would you be willing to sell the first one. actually, vice versa too.

right now i have the first set up (with all 8 lights) on my jeep. it is already bolted together though not wired up. it just uses the raingutter clamps so i can easilly swap it out. the other set up with the hellas is just kinda mocked on with zip ties that why they are kinda falling over lol. i went and talked with the cops today and they said both bars are legal just as long and i dont go blinding people the cut me off lol. i like the look of the 8 lights cause it is really over the top and who knows, there are plenty of caves around me just waiting to be explored lol. the 4 hellas just seem to sit way too high but it would be nice to have some spot lights instead of just fogs.

I think you may need a new alternator for all those lights. (dunno though)

I like both setups though, and I want more lights too, just don't need them.
