I just used a scale today to turn in my engine block for scrap... my Jeep weighs 3490 with a 1/2 tank of gas. That is with 31's and aluminum wheels.
I thought it might be lighter but I guess that's not too bad.

factory curb weight of a 4x4 xj 3055lbs - 3400lbs depending on package
if your built wheeler weighs under 4000lbs you should be a very happy man

My bone stock '90 Limited with 3/4 tank of gas and nobody inside rolls across the scales at exactly 3500 lbs. Published curb weights always seem low compared to actual scale weighs regardless of what vehicle.

when I first scaled it 2door manual half cage two 12"subs and 32s with 15x10 steel wheels and a full take it was at 3300.
scaled it after the 44/9 swap fender flares cutsom bumpers rock rails, removed some plastic in side, went to 15x7.5 aluminums wheels with 35s, a full tank, no subs, came in at 3800lbs.
