Hey all - 95 XJ with a lightbar that makes a huge difference at night. Unfortunately my interior is tan, and the lightbar shines onto the top of the dash so much that the reflection makes it pretty hard to see (which defeats the point.) I had a similar issue on my 2013 Sierra, so I removed the dash and painted it with a very matte black paint, which helped a lot. However, seems like the only way to get that top portion of the dash out is to pull the whole dash, which I'd really rather not do.
So I'm wondering what my options are here - maybe some kind of tape on the dash to darken it? Or a wrap of some kind? Seems like trying to paint it in place would be inviting trouble.
Thanks for the input!
