Default Roaming in very rural Mexico

Cousins spotted south of the border (US)....
My wife and I just got back from visiting deep in rural Mexico south east of Mexico City.
I was surprised to see multiple sightings of XJs down there. They are so good off road it makes sense in rural areas....was just pleasently surprised to see them still goin down there😁

Every time I go to Mexico (Mexicali area), I see a ton of XJs. Definitely some nice builds out there too.

Yeah back up where we were.... having a old solid axle miniature tank (aka: XJ) .... really comes in handy.

Yes... it is definitely a whole different way of life down in those areas. But you better be fluent in Espanol.... those areas probably don't see gringos too often. Beautiful yes...but those areas are most certainly NOT tourist destinations. lol
My wife is Mexicana and I speak a couple languages myself, Spanish being one of them...so easier for me to fit in even though I'm a white boy with a tan.

YES, the Mexicans know how to build a good rig. And they know how to cook a great meal too

I'm with ya on that.... they are very resourceful. Kinda reminded me of Cuba's American car scene. Nothing new coming in so they find ways to fix or remake parts they can't get imported
