I had my XJ towed for about a block by the road repair crew that is resurfacing out street. I missed the signs telling us to move our vehicles from the street.


Anyway, they used a front wheel tow truck so the front wheels got rotated to the passenger side and the steering wheel followed.



How come the steering wheel lock didn't snap?


I drove it after, and everything seems fine.
