drop arm kit

im planning to put a 4.5 suspension lift in my cherokee and they say i need a drop arm kit i was just wondering if i really need this and what people think will happen if i dont install it

You don't NEED it, you can just use adjustable control arms. The Drop Kit will give you a smoother ride and almost as much flex as Long Arms. The drop down put the control arms angles closer the the stock geometry. Because they will be flatter you will get a smother ride.

You shoudl get the Full Leaf Pack kit, not the AAL. The AddALeaf will sag, not last as long as new springs. You also should Upgrade to adjustable Control arms, instead of the fixed. With the RC kit you will have to get an adjustable trackbar, to recenter your axel after the lift, not included.
