Default Driveshaft spacers?

Im a 2wd with 5 inch lift and my driveshaft is sticking out the transmission a good bit. The problem is that its causing me to leak trans fluid a good amount. Im tired of constantly buying more fluid and my yoke is already longer than the YJ yoke. The drive shaft on there now is 36 inches and i only need an extra inch or 2. I heard someone use spacers in the U joints or something like that. Anyone have any ideas?

So you have the post 95 t case I take it. I'd just get a hack and tap sye, new seals and a toms woods DS. Iro makes a nice hack and tap with a cv extendable DS for 199$

what rear end is on there, and is it auto or stick?

reason i ask is the d35 has a longer drive shaft than the 8.25, so if you have an 8.25, you might be able to get away with using a drive shaft from a d35. that should be about an inch or so longer.
but if you have a d35, then that's where the auto/stick might help, depending what you have and which is longer.

auto and standards have different length drive shafts. but, not sure which one is longer tho.

and for the angle, use the yj yoke, it has better cutting for clearance and longer yoke.

Well ive got the 8.25, but the 2wd drive shaft is already about 9 inches longer than the 4x4 drive shaft. The yoke on the 2wd is longer than the YJ yoke by about .5-.75 an inch. It is an auto but the 2wd's are kind of hard to find at the junck yard.
I cant offord to buy a new shaft or got to an extension shop. Cant offord to keep topping off oil either haha. I need about a 38 inch driveshaft if i can find one thatll fit
