Driver side mirror auto dim won't shut off

Driver side mirror auto dim won't shut off
'96 Grand Cherokee Orvis ed. driver side mirror has turned bronze color about 3/4 the way up the glass. Mirror heater and memory still work fine, but the side mirror is blurry especially at night with a double image. Will a replacement of the glass fix this or do I need a whole new mirror? Anyone know where I can buy replacement heated mirror glass for a '96 GC?
