I would make it 32 by 40 and defiantly have a car lift and have a couple of the roller extension cords on the ceiling and a little office in the back thats what i would go with.

As well as vacuum to a large shop vac, and vent tubes for exhaust.

It would have to be at least 2 1/2 bays with a large work space. A second story would be nice, as well as a basement for an oil bay. Not everything I own is lifted.

Lots of plug ins, both 110v and 220v.

Probably plenty of other stuff as well.

A bar and a pair of cerwin vegas driven hard, lol. Sound isolation house on the back for the compressor. definately have that rubber coating on the floor. And a loft sure as hell beats the dog house when she figures out how much you've spent.

A lift That's look over the garage with storage underneath. 2.5 car size. A big tool chest. Those roll up air lines so compressed air would be easy to use. A mini fridge or the old full size one when you replace the one in the house! Extension cords and plenty of plugs would be nice too. Man I'd love to have a garage.

The loft for a sleeping spot is exactly what I was thinking. Some comfy chairs and a bar, TV for sure so the games can be watched.

I figured I wouldleave tools out as specifics, but since others have said it....

I will take ONE OF EVERYTHING for the tool set.

Yeah it will definitly be at least 2.5 and have space for a lift. that will be added later. I'm thinking 30x40 and the back corner of the first bay will be closed off and have outside access, that will be a storage shed. that is where the compressor will be. I will plumb air lines around the perimeter with hook ups along the wall. Then the front part of the second bay will be the work station with all the equip. and workbench. I'm thinking drill press, oxy/acetolene,mig. what else

A small two car garage with my wife's junk cluttered all over the place so I can't even walk to my Matco Tool chest without moving shoes and purses out of the way...wait, I already have that.
