Doorless XJ
I am trying to convince my dad to let me take the doors off my XJ. He says that if I take the doors off, then if I am on a trail ten a limb could come up and "stab through me"(?) and if I am driving down the road and get hit, I will die. Can anyone help me with this?

if it's your jeep. Just do it.... if ur dad bought it for you, that's a different story. But really, if he really doesn't want you to, just don't. it's not like it's limiting your jeeps capabilities.

Just wear a seatbelt youll be fine. in a wreck youd get cut up a little more but i dont see it really really hurting you, Plus if you were conscious itd be easier to get out lol

This ^. In Washington state you can be ticket for no doors if the vehicle didn't come from the factory with removable doors. But honestly unless your a dick to a cop you probably won't be cited for it

The seals arent effected by making your doors removable, its the fact that most people dont re-adjust their doors (like me) and they leak. Mine leak like a SOB but thats because ive yet to take the time to properly adjust the doors.
