Anybody ever run into any legal problems when driving with no doors?

 

Check your local laws or call your local LEO. I asked the local police department before I hacked of the hinges on mines and all they said was I had to run a drivers side mirror.

 

ive been pulled over twice by the same cop

he classified it as "driving without proper equipment" or some nonsense like that. he could not find any laws about driving without doors specifically.

it all really boils down to each cops own interpretation of what is legal and what is not. im sure it doesnt really matter what your local laws are, it would still not be to hard to find a law that he can apply to you if he really wants to. only that one cop has pulled me over in the years that ive been driving around doorless XJ's. and btw, i still drive doorless.

so really, in short... be polite and respectful if you do happen to get pulled over.
