Default Doorless. Can you fit 2 or more of the doors in the back?

Ok so on my new xj I want to go doorless. My question is anyway you can put the 2 front doors in the back neatly? Without taking to much space up. ?

I'm sure there is room back there for a couple doors. I would just hope you secure them real well otherwise I see lots of dents and maybe some broken glass. Why do you want to carry the doors with you? Bad weather?

I found that the doors fit perfectly and take up no space at all if I just leave them on.

More or less that. And I want to be able to do it wherever I am.

There's no way id leave my doors in the jeep. Our roads are way to bumpy for that and I can just see them getting way too damaged.

I would pad them. I guess it was just a thought I'm really paranoid abt stuff being stolen. And on long trips I want to be able to go odorless but later put doors back on.

I have a 2 door so the doors are longer but I just fold the seats down and put them in the back with an old comforter between them. Also I roll the windows down so they are safely out of the way. And since I don't have the foldable mirrors having the windows down allows a spot for the mirror to stick up and not have the weight of the other door resting on it. I've been caught in bad weather before on a long trip so that's usually the only time I will do that.

honestly, not much water gets into the jeep in a rain storm. well thats in my MJ. if you had all 4 doors off a XJ, im sure the back would get wet. i got caught in a pretty heavy rain storm going from camp to the trail. it wasnt that bad.

Plan ahead. Don't leave valuables in that you aren't willing to lose and throw them on if you are going on a long trip. A big tarp works pretty damn well if you think its gonna rain.

I can (and have) carried my front doors in the back of my XJ when doorless.. Only works with the rear seat folded down, and will mark up the doors if you don't protect them somehow (I don't care about paint scrapes anymore lol). I prefer having all 4 doors off, and 4 in the back wouldn't work out too well..
