Door and Lift Gate Window Mods?
I was wondering if it was possible to make the lift gate window roll down into the lift gate like the 90s model Broncos. What would yall suggest on how to go about doing this. Also wanted to know the best way to wire up and install power windows and mirrors. I do plan on keeping the 89 doors because I will be putting vent windows in them. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've asked that question before, you already have two more responses then I did.
I wanted to do this because my dads old suburban had a electric rear window and I thought that was awesome.
Probably be easier to make it removable or add struts like with the lift gate.

This has been asked many times before, the inner structure wouldn't easily allow for this modification. You would basically have to start from scratch. The vehicles that have that feature usually have a much thicker hatch and a much different interior hatch design

If you want it out that bad you could just actually remove/reinstall the glass every time. It's pretty much just a matter of pulling the gusset from around the glass and they're fairly prone to popping out on their own anyway if you slam the gate too hard.

The easiest methond, would to buy Jeep doors that have power windows.
You would have all the parts to put into your doors.
Your fuse box probably has a spot for power windows, even if your
Jeep does not have power windows, if not just use another fuse spot
like the cigar lighter....
good luck..

Older grand wagoneers came with roll down windows in the hatch but it was a pretty bad set up if you ask me becouse the window crank to roll down the back glass was on the outside of the gate. You'd prolly have to find a set up like this. Gut your hatch install the parts and make a gasket to fit inside we're the deal goes and get and get a window made.. It would be more work than its worth.
