Default Dont laugh..... Light bars

I've made myself a pretty nifty roof rack for a 50" light bar... I dont trust amazon or eBay reviews I trust you guys lol

My recent experience... I did order a really highly rated 50" everyone loved it. I hook it up and the beam pattern is like a thin white line... Which in itself is pretty bright but no flood light.. I tinkered with it fashioned a decent makeshift harness with higher gauge than that provided, I could get no more juice out of this 60w million lumen Jesus bar...

If anyone who has a good curved 50" that they didnt spend more than $200 on post a link up here please ...I prefer it to be slim. Still open to the use of amazon bars just want something that actually performs!!

Thanks

On the roof you never want a flood light pattern anyways,On the roof or close to the drivers head you want spot beam pattern so it throws light far.A flood light you want more on the front bumper because it has less distance but more width so you can see in front of you.A flood light on your roof will mostly shine off your hood maybe blinding you and really do nothing for distance.

I hear you but this wasn't even passable as spot... I have flashlights I'd be better off holding out my window as a spot light

It was from a company called eyourlife. Its a 50 inch curved. I use it cuz it shines on the sides and I can see wildlife before they dart out across the road

I'd look at auxbeam they have a the size you need and a couple of the 50 inch are 50% off right now. Just not the curved ones.

I've used 3 of their bars a 21" straight, 21" curved and a 32" curved and they've all worked well!

Hell yeah. Almost forgot. Just wire it directly to your ignition. I love when people have 3 light bars on at once in the day time

There is one guy I see every day. He has 1 in the grille, one on the bumper, and one on the roof. They are always on. It bugs me so damn much

Good advice. IP 67 is water resistant, 68 is waterproof. Mine is 68, but last time it rained, I got moisture in the lens
