i just got done turning my 2.8 7000rpms in a mudhole for over an hour.....still runs great.....

although it's still stuck

it really dont look all that bad, but these ruts were made by 35's....

the only tree that's even remotely behind the jeep is about 40 feet away...the comealong we have is 10', the tow rope we have is 10', and the strap we have is also 10'....i'm considering hooking my boat trailer to the hitch, then hooking the recovery gear to it, the trailer is a good 13 feet long, should get me enough length......

also, notice no mud on the front fenders? i have no front axle shafts.....

dig a shallow round hole the size of your spare, thow your spare in the hole (flat), hook come-along to spare wheel and out to your rig... and pull it out.
I've done this on a sandy/wet beach with success, that hard clay should make things work great.

never thought of the spare tire thing, if the boat trailer dont work i'll try that.

i wish i knew i wouldnt break the d35 with 33" swampers, because i have a set that i know would do better than the Courser AWT's (supposed to be 31's, actually measure 28.5")

anyways, the more i look at the nice even tan coating on the drivers side, i'm starting to consider painting it that color...
