baught a steering kit from ballistic fab over two and a half months ago. keep getting the run around about getting my parts. anyone have problems with in the past.

 

I've ordered from them several times and it has always shipped in a day or two.

 

i ordered some ballistic joints and misc odds and ends from them...got a huge runaround took forever to get the order..i actually cancelled it and then it showed up one day...product was so nice i didn't raise a stink i just kept the parts and did the project.. but time was an issue and i did keep getting stories about platers and stuff....all and all not happy witrh thecompany very happy with products

hear about rod ends taking forever a lot.

you either get great service or the runaround its like a gamble with them but so far i have had good luck with them

 

I was going to go wit ballistic fab for my heim steering but they were back ordered for 2-3 months and they didnt tell me until 2 weeks after i purchased them. So i got my $$$ back and I went wit franks serious steering and its a WAY better setup for bout the same price if not a lil cheaper. And i had it at my door in under a week and franks great to work wit!

 

You are one of the few ppl I have heard from that have good dealings with them.



I personally order 1k worth of stuff a few yrs ago... got billed 6 weeks later I got my parts.... Never again.


Had a similar situation with a vendor on this site... Parts where at the machinist for 3 weeks. and kept getting the run around.


As of late I have been using Barnes 4wd. Great guy.. somewhat local to me (North carolina I am in VA). I recieve my parts in 2-3 days, and if it doesnt ship within 24hrs shipping is free.

I have always heard good things about Dan. Personally, my only dealings with him have been him taking cheap shots at me and Ballistic. I figure if he has that much extra time on his hands, more power to him.

dave the truth is you have awesome products but the service is less then good..... i even cancelled an order to have it show up a week or two later... i have never heard anyone complain about quality. i get the vibe you are a smaller operation than we all probably think.. i'm giving ballistic another shot but i'm only ordering brackets...last time i ordered some joints and it took about 6 weeks thankfully i was able to stall my customer.. i understand that people sling crap on all these forums. but i think this is a legit complaint...i don't see any threads that seem embelished or trash talking.

Any time I have responded it has been after some offhand comment like this one gently trying to discredit my business...you are also a slimy person thinking the style of advertisng you undertake, taking potshots at businesses that are tearing you up from your own inability to deliver what you sell...Start delivering when you promise and people will stop *****ing.

 

Good customer service is just as important as a good product.

 

FWIW - I have still yet to hear anything from this customer here, or on any other forum he has posted this claim on. To the best of my knowledge, all kits are shipped.

 

ballisticdave every time i call i get the run around about my heim joints. you guys just need to tell people that you cant get the parts in stead for saying theyll ship in a couple days and 2 weeks later still no parts and its the same thing again and again when i call back in. if you just send your stuff out when people order from you you wouldent have people *****ing about your business. hers my order number ab-27893 give me a call when you in fact have my heims in and through in somin worth while like a shirt or something. i where a medium
