Me too! Try and un-latching them if no one sits back there, I've tried every grease on the market, this seems to work best for me!
That's what I was thinking. Hopefully I'll have enough room for my school books. And my Jeep likes to accidentally shoot some wiper fluid onto people who ride my ***!Originally Posted by Xjtim

Same here! Lol. First few times it happened I swore the gas pump was broken. Six pumps and a few visits by the PO'd gas station attendant later I figured out it was the Jeep. Needless to say I never went to that gas station again!Originally Posted by toogreat
when i put gas in i have to hold the handle to where its barely filling otherwise the neck of the tank fills up and triggers the auto release. it takes me about 15min to fill my tanks

My 2000 does the opposite of that lolOriginally Posted by Agent_Oragnge
only when accelerating i get a tick. increases/decreases with RPM and sound increases the more "G's" are in the accelation. furthermore.... it doesn't always happen. engine temp, time of day, price of tea in china, it just doesn't affect the randomness of it.

My 99 also did this. Got the thermostat replaced since it was stuck open and has been working fine ever since.Originally Posted by 99 Purple XJ
I cant get my truck to warm up in the winter it runs at 130 and no heat and every mechanic i asked said they cant figure it out
My own problems have all been mentioned - squeaky steering wheel in the cold, crunching door noises, somewhere in the right side of the dash is a squeak (matches the one in the back perfectly), brakes act like they are on steroids when there is moisture in the air. What interesting creatures we drive!

When its cold, the first right hand turn I make every morning squeaks very loudly.Originally Posted by 99redclassic

My first xj did that, it was a 2000. I figured out the PO stuck something in the filler neck, that jeep got wrecked, so now I don't have to deal with it! I have an 01 now, and it doesn't do that at all.Originally Posted by DeadCellM60

Same here, lol. I was in a parking lot with a car right behind me, let's just say that car was less than pleased. Originally Posted by cubfan

OK, I feel better about certain things after reading this thread, thanks.
If the headlights aren't turned off before you shut her off, you have to turn the key back to the on position to have them go out, otherwise they stay on & my radio sometimes stays on after you take the key out, sometimes it doesn't.....IDK, hahaha guess "it's a Jeep thing" but it doesn't matter, love her anyway!
