I wish there were more in town. Here there are a lot of old stock Cherokees mostly driven by old granola girls. Also many lifted mall crawler pickups. So I've never had the chance to wave.

Haha my jeep is all stock and i havent been able to afford the lift and tires yet. maybe thats why they dont wave back? im just gonna buy a big o jeep flag and hang it out of my window when i see one lol

 

I used to wave, but never got any responses. Not sure if it was just the "Gilbert snobs" or if it was because of my stock 2wd XJ or both, but I eventually gave up on trying.

 

To make people wave at me I sweve in their lane and flash all my lights. It normally works, but most of the time they only wave with one finger.

 

I live in a small town where you saw everyone with a lifted rig at the store or getting gas. Got to know most of them, wheel together and always wave. But it is true not everyone (especially Stock XJ owners) is a jeep/wheeler.

 

I assume most stock Cherokees are not hardcore so I don't wave because I don't think they would get it, but if one waved at me I'd totally wave back.

As far as lifted Cherokee snobs: No matter how hardcore their Cherokee is I think they fail to understand they're still at the bottom of the barrel with the rest of us. They're like King of the Losers.

 

It was the night of the living xjs for me today. Not one thumbs up toward me but a lot of stares. Tons of xjs spotted today.
