well when painting chrome you have to have a tack coat or it wont stick and will fish eye. its generally good to have a tack or primer coat when painting anything to promote better bonding to the surface...but ya your right, prepping correctly takes time, time alot of people would rather spend on something else. myself i am so used to helping my buddy Danny Albert do custom paint i know nothing but the right way, and from experience, show quality paint comes from meticulous prep work.

I definitely need to redo all the black and thanks for all the advice. I will do some more work on it when I get some $$$.

I didn't do the bumper. It is from OR FAB. I love it I am working on getting a winch for it. I have been looking at a 8500lb. Rugged Ridge winch. Any comments? Please advise.

I will do some more military markings like stars and serial number when the paint is where I want it. I love all of those Ideas. I will also do the "No Step" over the wheel wells.

I recently just put in my Dana 44 Rear and now my speedometer is ten showing lower than it was before. But the gears are the same. ???????

Any advice again would be great.

And has anyone used or installed the Y-Link kit from T&T Customs?

^Yes, another picture of the OR-FAB bumper. I actually started a thread in "Cherokee chat" requesting pictures. So that's the winch mount model? Any comments on quality, fitment, ease of installation?

Could I convince you to make a post in here...

Looks good....I did the same thing. Add some stenciling to the side. I have my plate number up front and my name in the rear. Add an Invasion Circle around the star haha it looks cooler.

I have since touched up the star to make it look nicer-

You might try spray bedliner on the chrome. My brother bought a black '03 Liberty Renegade, the front bumper, grill and fender flares were pretty badly scared from bugs and road rash. He sprayed everything with bedliner and it looks a lot better plus it is holding up very well.

PFC Stone I love it. Looks great.

The bedliner Idea sounds cool. Do you have any pics of it?
