I didnt notice til this thread, but all the rigs at the top of the page are 4 door.

 

Four door all the way!! Two doors are for people without friends

 

Got tired of anything 2 Door after having a 2 Dr S-10 Blazer, a Bronco 2, an older F-150 Reg Cab, and a 2 Dr Explorer Sport.
4 Doors the way to go.

 

All these comments about how much "better" a 2-door looks and how "cool" they are. I don't get it. Damn things look like something's missing! And what's so cool about having to get out of your seat to let someone in the back? At 5'9 that's a given for me. I'll never own a 2-door anything. Guess I'm not one of the "cool" kids ...

 

well thats why i bought a wj limted...if i have more then one passenger in my jeep, i just simply dont take the XJ...

the only thing i hate about 2 doors is the fact they have the same hinges as the 4 doors so 2 doors are known for sagging doors, and even for falling
off bc the hinges were designed to support a door half the weight

 

two doors are such a waste of energy. everything requires you do exit your seat to do anything in the back. i only own one two door vehicle and thats because they didn't make a 4 door version of that vehicle.

it just adds that quirkiness to it.

4-doors can get a pretty mean look if done right. not hating on the 2-door, but there are some pretty BA 4-doors out there.

totally representing the 4-door sport. something about wagon style vehicles i just think are cool. like old Chevy Nomads, Dodge Magnums, old woody surf wagons, they just have this weird cool factor.

 

what the heck is up with america being LAZY?

also as far as im concerned, just bc its a 2-door doesnt mean its not a wagon style jeep..i love wagon style jeeps too..and the 2-door is a wagon style jeep..it doesnt have to have 4 doors to be a "wagon"...look at the 55 chevy nomad...thats 2 doors, yet still a "wagon"

 

You guys really wanna know why 4 doors arent up in the banner?
Well that because they look cute on the street and cant handle the beating that those 4 doors up there in the banner can. lol
Im jus bashing you 2 doors because i have a 4 door. haha

I would however love to get a 2 door since it is significantly lighter than the 4 door due to having only 2 door handles instead of 4.
Id be able to gain a couple of mpg's.

 

I love my 2 door XJ. And the rule of the 2 doors (any for that matter) is that the driver doesn't get outta the seat to let people in the back. It's just one those unwritten rules. Also, I think it's a hassle getting into the back of the 4 door because the damn doors are so small! Not saying I wouldn't drive a 4-door though. I love ALL XJs, but just happen to drive a 2 door that I bought for $400 and drove home trouble-free.

 

heres what i have to say about 4 doors...it takes you longer to roll all your windows down then me!!...HA!!....unless you have you know, 4 people in it, and i only have myself in mine...then i guess you could roll yours down faster...hmm..kind of a losing argument here i guess

this only goes for crank windows like mine

im just waiting for some smart A#$ to put down "other"....what "other" could there be?..is there a 6 door im not aware of? or possibly even a 1 door?
