IN all honesty of the OP if you have both 2 and 4 doors.. you should neither vote or vote both... :} But would like to see a honest vote to... what the % really is.. I can not find ANYWERE the % of 2d vers 4d for each year...Id like the Numbers if anyone can find them... but back to OP lets try to keep this fair and Honest... id like to see the numbers.. :}
so if you voted for 2 or 4 and own both.. can you revote ?

i agree with homer , i voted for four but my vote is bias because i have a two door too.
but why all the four door bashing? the only thing i can think of the would make a 2 door better is probably more structural rigidity since there is one one less pillar limiting chassis flex (don't ask me how i came of with that one lol)...but i like the four door more because it is more cozy.. i know the back doors are ridiculously small but all i need to use the for is getting stuff on the back seat which can be a PITA sometimes with the two door...and those vents on the 2doors to flimsy mine got ripped off but it looked alot better with them on.

haha yeah out of 6 xjs you would think one would be a two door.. we can safely assume the ratio of 4 doors to 2 doors is less the 6:1 i want to say there is 2.5 four doors for ever two door.

Banner is made up of the COMs..
I have a 4, but want to get a two and do a chop on it removing the rear seats, and having the vents work as a slight extended cab, where tow ropes and other things will be help, as well as a cage. That wont be happening for a long time though.

Nice driver's side mirror! I've had my Jeep for 5 months and replaced 4 mirrors and 5 downstream O2 sensors due to offroading. I pretty much have the same exact Jeep as you minus the cool window vents since mine's a 96. But otherwise, it's a Black 5 speed 2-door that loves the mud. After seeing your Jeep with the factory tire carrier, I think I'm gonna pick one up from the JY.
Not really sure how some of you think the 2 door looks "sportier". To me they look almost exactly the same. I like my 4 door because of the easier access to the back seat.
My mom had nothing but 2 door cars until I was 14. And having an older sister that always got to sit in the front seat, I got sick of climbing into the back seat. So given the choice between a 2-door and a 4-door version of the same vehicle, I will pick the 4-door every time.
