Default DIY for pulling a motor?

I may end up pulling a motor out of a 96 jeep xj. Its got a AW4 & np231 attached to it.
I was wonder if theres some kind of guide for this or something? I've pulled motors before but not in an xj...any easy or quick way to go about it?
