Man and I thought I had the only rear washer that shot straight back. I have not fixed it because it is to much fun to squirt someone when the walk behind the jeep. And to get those annoying tail gaiters off my ***. They always seem to appreciate it. Because almost all of them give me a one finger up symbol when they pass. Or get in front of me and turn their front washers on high. To spray my Jeep, hey free windshield washer fluid.

I like to tell my friends the I think I have "a brake light out" or see if my reverse lights are working (they sometimes do it is actually an issue) and they stand behind my jeep and get drenched. But it drains the fluid tank so I just use water

My first Cherokee (an 87) had the same busted rear washer nozzle.

I too used to spray unsuspecting people that would walk behind me.

I sure wish I still had that thing. Sold it to a scrapper for a few hundred bucks. It had some serious issues though.

If you have consistent issues with blower fan resistors and relays, odds are good that the plug on the back of the fan speed switch is burned up, causing a short.

This pigtail is available new, but to eliminate future issues just cut it off, replace with individual heavy duty insulated spade connectors. This keeps the leads separate from each other, reducing heat buildup and minimizing the chance of a short if the wires do get hot.

Not running the fan on its highest setting can extend the life of the oem plug, but is not needed with this mod. I've pulled my switch several times since doing this to inspect, and everything is looking perfect.

great new forum. bet the washers on the hinges would deal with that same rough idle I have when restarting my XJ 2000 on a long hot drive.
other ideas good too.... nteresting about the 1/2 in automatic shift and might try it. No idea why the mfr combined the two lowgears in an otherwise tough transmission. (sympathy about getting the paperclip tattoo. gotta be careful out there. always disconnect. murphy's law applies.)
