Default Differential Guards? Recommendations?

i am looking at getting dif guards for a Dana 30 and Chrysler 8.26 dif. any brands anyone recommends? i wanna get ARBs but they are kinda expensive and i really do rock. just mud and swamp.

If you do a search you will find quite a few guards, many in the 50-80 dollar range. Just make sure they are open enough at the bottom to be able to clean the mud and pebbles out.

id rather get ARB for a few bucks more, i trust ARB idk about the ruff stuff tho cus i dont know any of my friends that have used them

almost any brand will do the job. so long as they are about 3/16" thick.
or the tubular ones, home made or store bought.

i have warn on both axles, but rugged ridge makes a close copy.

well if you have any concerns they are a vendor on the forum and Rusty's guards are all on sale for $50 right now

The half guards that are like the Warn and Rusty's are a pita to clean out the mud and small pebbles. I ran the Warns until I noticed I had bent the front and pulled it off and found rust on my diff cover. Went to the Purple Cranium tube type much easier to clean, and much stronger.
