Peal off that plug, fill er up, and plug it back up. I thought the plug was weird but it seems effective enough... Also for someone who asked above, use the cheap gear oil and change it often, this way your more protected than a fancy syntehetic.

Cool thanks guys. Ya I work at advance auto so I got our bran for like $3.50 a bottle good enough for me. Transfer case I got valvaline maxlife dex111 fluid

I got the front done now gunna do the rear and transfer case. Change oil this weekend to maxlife high mileage

and the gears are not different the 85-140 is meant to be used for heavy applications, towing, offroad, ect. I always run it 100% of the time without issue
i always use ATF+4 with my tranny and t-case, alot of people also run 90wt in their t-case.

It doesnt matter how cold it is outside, when you start driving the diff fluid will heat up to operating temp fast. unless you live somewhere where it is constantly below -20 or -30 degrees i wouldnt worry about it.

With your oil i wouldnt cheap out, go with full synthetic instead of high mileage. The extra 10$ on better oil will save you alot of money farther on down the road. Just my .02

I got my front and rear filled now TC tomorrow. Will I be able to pour the fluid in with ease?

Shouldn't be to hard. Usually the worst part is gettin the fill and drain plugs off

Really? Seized bolts ande we don't get along very well lol. The plugs shouldn't break off right? Mine are socket heads

No they won't break. But don't use a crescent wrench, rent a socket if you don't have one
