Default Detail stripe removal?

Anyone have a good method for removing that horrible looking detail stripe that runs along the whole jeep at door handle level? I started to peel some of it off tonight with my fingernail hoping it would just all peel off after i got it started but thats not the case, it just flakes off...any ideas?

I think I know what you're talking about. I removed my vinyl "Cherokee Classic" decal at the bottom of the door by using a razor blade. Came off pretty good, but I was about to sand and paint my jeep anyways, so I wasn't too worried about scuffing the paint or chipping it

Try heating with a hairdryer to loosen. Use "Goof Off" or similar to remove residue. Good Luck!

Search "Eraser pad for pinstripe removal" ~ $10 off Amazon. Or check with local body shops maybe they will give you a almost used up 3M wheel for free.

Do this. I believe there is a write up of how to do it in the write up section

Go to any parts store, and ask for "Aircraft Vinyl/Adhesive remover. Was about ten dollars, and you just spray it on the old decal or adhesive, let it sit five minutes, then it rubs off with paper towel. Worked beautifully on mine, won't damage clear coat or paint at all. I have pics on my profile of before and after. Took half hour.
