dont have any pics, and this wasnt in my cherokees, but on my wranglers i have had water up past the head lights..one time it was getting dark out, and you could see the glow of the head lights under the water..lol...from time to time then, a tital wave would come up over the hood and hit the windshield..lol...it was a solid bottom, thats why i didnt get stuck..lol

and ive been thru moving streams where once i felt the water hitting the door...and it pushed the jeep sideways a bit...i wasnt lined up with what i wanted to be lined up with by the time i got to the other side..lol...but i never turned the steering wheel..lol

This water got super deep but I didn't want to chance it.... when the water completely covered my ankles I got out.... The tires are 33's. Lucky me I don't have carpet and I covered my floor front to back in a truck bed coating and I have enough rust holes that it drained out easily. In the one where I'm driving towards the camera I wasn't sure where the rock was that I have my front tire proped up on in the second picture and I sure didn't want to hit it unexpectedly.

^^^^^^ .... yeah as soon as I get the money to fix the clutch I'm breaking it in by taking it to the river and I'll probably see if it floats and if it doesn't I'll wish I had a snorkel.... we will see what happens
