Default Dead Jeep

Well guys, a woman pulled out in front of me today, and the XJ is totaled. No pics right now sorry. Question is now what to buy? I was toying with the idea of a WJ but I'm not sure. XJs are getting so hard to find in good shape these days, especially here in the Northeast where the salt has gotten to them. I would probably want to stay under 10K. Thoughts?

Do a another XJ, ZJ, or WJ. Or if room isn't an issue maybe a YJ.

For 10k I would go with a giant SJ with a 5.9l 360 V8 or a Nice XJ. Gotta love the Rugged Station Wagons.

You could find a really, really nice XJ for 10 grand. Or a 98 5.9L ZJ and a beater XJ

For $10K you could get a sweet XJ.
I'd get a '99 2 door 4x4 5-speed...

Or a CJ7.

I'll sell the op mine for the sweet deal of $9999. 10k is a lot for a xj. I'm assuming the op means 10k for the jeep and mods.

I would hope so!

And you have a '99 2DR 4WD 5-speed?
Lucky bastard...

OP should get one and lift it 5" and throw 35s under it.
It could be done for $10K total, with luck.

Haha... I applaud your good taste, sir!

If you don't mind me asking, how much does he want for it?

He's asking 5k which I think is a little high. But my old Jeep was 5spd and I really don't want auto. They are getting pretty scarce around here. I'd like to get him down to 4, but we will see.

2 door 5 speed 4WD 97+s are pretty rare here... Don't know about there, but here that's not a terrible price. A bit high though, yeah.
