I am looking to swap my dana 30 front end for a dana 44. I was just wondering if there is an ez swap and what vehicle the dana 44 front ends are in. I dont want to have to cut one down.

You are not gonna find a stock D44 that will bolt right in for the front. The closest thing you are gonna get is a D44 out of an FSJ (Grand Wagoneer, cherokee cheif, etc) You need a driveside drop. But it will be too wide and have a different bolt pattern.

Or a Rubicon front d44 but there made of gold and still a bigger bolt pattern

Incorrect.
A D44 from an 03-06 Rubicon is a direct bolt in.

Are those the one's with the D30 parts mixed in?

I bolted in a TJ Rubicon D44 and it was plug and play. Wired the locker and I was good to go. That's the easiest it's going to get.

Yes those are not real D44 axles. Just the housings and inner shafts. The shafts are 30 spline shafts. The outer shafts are the same as a D30. The balljoints, and knuckles are also the same as a D30. This is why I did not even bother to mention the TJ D44. It is overpriced IMO and a HP D30 is about just as good. Most D30s Ive seen on the trails breaking break at the u-joints and ears on the outer shafts. Remember a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

my d30 is the week link that is why i want to chang it. I put a doubler in about a year ago and i love it but i haven't put the front end in a big bined yet and i know when I do it is going to brake that is why i want to swap it out for something stronger

If you have to ask which D44 to put in your XJ you are in over your head already IMO !

Your best way to go is to get a 44 from a 70s bronco

That's why when it breaks you upgrade to chromo or RCV's lol
