daily driver with d60 and 35's or bigger
so my jeep is at a point in its life where i can either keep it with 35s and pretty capable with long arms and such strengthen axles or go d44,or to just say f*** it and go full widths and keep 35's or gp bigger and very capable possibly 4 link rear as well and more.its still a daily driver but i work offshore so its not that much of a daily driver. what are you running if your daily driver has full widths.pics would be useful cause i need to decide quickly o and i live in alabama are vehicle laws are non existant

My jeep with 44/60 is DDable, but I have a DD. My buddy daily'd his jeep with a 60/14 combo on 40" pitbulls for a while when he was in between pickups. He drove it 65 miles or so every 3 days back and forth from his fishing boat at 70mph. If you build it right, any rig is streetable. KOH rigs do 100mph.

i have a dd as well but it kinda sucks.the jeep is much nicer to drive and i usually drive my jeep when its running. so you have 44/60 what size tires you running. and how is that 44 holding up. ive been told to not even waste my time with 44s and just go with 60s. how does yours drive on road. i know its not gonna be caddy material but i dont want it to be so i think this could work as a dd

I'm just trying to get everyone's input. If I'm gonna all this work to make 44s fit why not just get 60s and then ill always be good. And I'll know I won't break anything

ive daily driven as large as 37's on a 44/60 combo.
Don't be a hack about it and its easy.
The biggest issue I found was tire choice. You have to be prepared to spend a little coin there. Swampers in the larger sizes don't balance very well and will vibrate your 1/4 ton xj to hell and back. Gotta drop the coin on a quality bias ply tire, or a radial if you want a smooth ride.
35" radials are no sweat though.

Well I'm thinking more on a 44/60 combo now. But I'll probably stay with 35s. I may go with with 38s though due to I found an awesome deal but don't know yet. I just wanna be able to not worry about breakin stuff with my right foot due to tire size. That's why I'll most likely stay with 35s probably go with km2s or something like that

if you are staying with 35s, you dont need a 60 rear. waggy 44 front and 8.8 rear would be ideal IMHO. i have a HP44 front and D60-ISU rear and theyre beef but are way overkill for 35s. i'll be getting 37s when i can afford to a few years down the road.

Its up to you. I feel that 35s would be more manageable for daily driving. Yes, technically. Mine flexes fine, though there are plenty of jeeps on this forum that will "out flex" it, but it is built to do what I want it to do, and does it well. 5.13s.

I want to be able to do pretty much anything without having to worry about breakage and still daily drive it. I've been reading about people saying it cost about the same to go full width or 44s

how much do you think it was all together to d0 44/60, cause i just found a deal from a friend on both with matching gears and a locker in rear ready to go except for new brackets
i found an 8.8 for sale but a 44 in good shape is real tough to find around here
