Default cutting glass

ok ive recenty choped my top an in my brainstorming i thought of a way to fill in the gaps beteen the two pillars after the back is welded...why not use the glass that wuz removed..i need to cut it to size...would this workfrom harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...number=96032if not wht could i use

Don't know if it would work or not. On laminated safety glass, you'd have to cut it on both the inside and the outside, and use something to cut the plastic inner film layer, then get it to break cleanly, all without destroying the window. Good luck.

so it looks like my pyro in me can come out....after some help from google ,i should cut both sides then use lighter fluid to melt the inside...any insight or thoughts

If you try and cut safety glass with that thing, you're gonna have a big problem. We tried cutting safety glass in my buddy LIVING ROOM and let's just say we had over 10,000 little chunks of glass we had to pick out of the carpet. Make sure you do it outside.
