The old shotguns I have are worth too much to cut up.

An old d30 pinion

 

Then weld some spider gears together and then weld them ontop for the handle

 

Or take an old tcase chain and weld it straight into the shape you want for the lever

 

What about chains? Like you weld them together to make a stick out of it. I think it might look cool I saw someone did it to there mail box as a post and you can make it whatever shape you want.

I saw where someone here on CF used a knife for the transfer case lever. I think this could have some possibilities for my gear lever.

I am a little tempted to skip the Jeep model for one with a compass on the butt.
