My tires are still new, however will I be able to run 33's on this set up without re-gearing without any problems?
What about 35's?
lockers?

I'll tell you right now, going from 3.55s to 4.56s on 33s was like night and day. Don't know how I was ever on 33s with stock gears. If I were you, I would not even consider going bigger without planning on doing gears at the same time.
I'd say run the 32s until you have budgeted enough for new tires and gears at the same time.

I'm running 33's on stock gears (auto tranny) and it's not horrible. BUT, sayin that, I've got rebuilt axles with 4.56 & lockers in my garage just waiting for me to slide em under. Gas mileage isn't good with stock gears & 33's but if mpg was an issue, you wouldn't be driving an XJ. 33's/lockers/stock gears okay, 35's/lockers/stock gears, probably not a great idea. Can be done but will want tranny cooler at a min.

Didn't say that it CAN'T be done. But it is certainly MUCH nicer with proper gearing.
But if you're gearing, put in lockers at the same time. You're already paying the labor cost to be in there if you're not doing it yourself.

Once you put in those axles you have sitting, you'll see the night and day difference I mentioned Didn't say that it CAN'T be done. But it is certainly MUCH nicer with proper gearing. So let's say that I was considering putting lockers in now. I'm not too familiar with the affects of gearing. I'm not sure what gearing I now have on my 1998 Cherokee Classic.
With that being said; what type of gearing would I want to go to while on my current 32's that will be great for the 33's or 35's in the future. Remember my 32's are close to new.
Also; I'm reading it will be like "night and day"...... , perhaps you can share with me some of the enhanced driving characteristics that I,d experience?
One last thing.... Keeping labor out of the equation, what is an approximate cost for new gears?
Many Thanks!

I'm currently running 3.55 axle ratio.
