Before everybody jump down my throat this was certainly not a planed event. This particular unibody was suffering from cancer which led to it's demise.
Lets set the scene. 4 guys, 1 tow truck, 8 jack stands, one tired Comanche.
The time came for me to get rid of the body of my Comanche after we robbed it of all intact/re usable parts. After the removal of the axles we set it on 8 jack stands 4 under the cab on the frame rail, 2 under the radiator support, 2 under bed cross member. Since this truck was just a shell we figured what could be the harm in dragging it off the jack stands and onto the flat bed? We hooked up and started pulling. As the truck shifted forward the rear jack stands toppled over causing the bed to come down at a weird angle bending the unibody between the cab and bed. As we kept pulling the front jack kicked out causing the front to smack down, but leaving the 4 center jack stands still standing. Which ultimately led to this.

A little back story for nay sayers. The truck was taken out of commission after the passengers side frame rail rotted all the way through leaving the truck only attached on the drivers side. Apparently the jarring force of 2 crashes then being pulled over jack stands finally took down this rig.
Don't take frame rot/rust lightly I thought this truck would be okay but clearly we were wrong.

Oh I'm aware of that but the general term used it still unibody. It split nearly exactly where it turns from unibody to sub frame but I am still considering this a unibody failure.

**** since its already apart and nothing to spare but the front half, put it in that back yard and convert it to a grill.. Seen before with other cars and when i get a change im doin the same. put some marine speakers on there and you have a grill and music.. turn the bed into a counter top when you have BBQs and stuff.. 2 cents
Ok cancel the counter top idea.. just make the grill

I would also cut the bed in half, you one half how is sits normally for a bench and turn the other half side of bed up for a bar/eating area.

I know! I wish I had my camera handy at the time. That was the best a sell phone could do at night.
It was on it's way to the scrap yard so it really didn't matter what happened to it. It's not like I jack up my trucks and winch them for the hell of it.
