Default Crossing bars for roof rack

I just ordered a roof rack and I wasn’t able to install it because I don’t have crossing bars on my ‘98 Cherokee classic. I’ve been researching for like an hour to find some crossing bars for the Jeep but I can’t find anything. Anyone know where I could find some crossing bars for cheap for a ‘98?

Ok thanks. Do you know if crossing bars from a different year Cherokee would work?

I could be wrong, but I think the mounting rails were the same throughout the years, but the style of cross bars and sliders were different. I think whatever factory crossbars you pull from an XJ will work.

They changed the length at some point. Older newer body styles it went all the way to the front.
The last couple, maybe few, years of manufacture they only went part of the way to the front.
'97 and '98 should fit. Maybe '99. '00 and '01 will be different.

But the crossbars should be the same for all.
