When he said JY he meant junkyard. You started talking about wheelbase... did you think he was telling you to get a YJ Wrangler? lol
Yeah, that's not bad at all. I bought a wrecked 2 door once and it had that same damage on both sides and the entire front clip was missing. Cost me a whopping $80 for 2 fenders, the headlight/light bezels, front clip, ect and another $20 for the headlights.
Only downside for you is you have a really rare color so matching it without painting might be pretty difficult. Personally I wouldn't even report it to my insurance and take the risk of it being totally.

Such a rare color, be a shame to ruin it honestly. Wouldn't take much to get the JY parts, strip the paint off them with aircraft remover and have them shot with the factory color. Prep is the expensive part and it's much easier to do with the parts off, especially since they're all bolt on.

This is my first Jeep so before I joined this forum, I didn't even know what an XJ or YJ or any of the other designations were.

Fender, Bumper, Header, Paint...... Your about 3,200
I was hit last spring and had a dented fender, bent bumper, broken header panel an I had a insurance check for $3298.00
I fixed my jeep and added a locker gastank skid winch bumper and still pocketed about $1100-1200
The Moron in the white XJ was texting ran a red light , hit the civic which spun 90* into me when I was sitting stationary, The White XJ continued to slam into the white Mazda 3. I was the only one to drive away
