honestly I think that they will be fixing it. I hit a deer at 45 and did about the same amount of damage. They fixed it and she is almost as good as new ( tweaked the sub frame and unibody on the drivers side.). I ended up with it costing the insurance company around $4k.

Yup i thought he was trying to get me in a wrangler..... And i call it p.a.p. or pick a part... Its not a junk yard... Salvage i have a parts heep im pulling everything off of. Just needs sprayed my color.

Around here, they still call them junk yards. Some will let you drive out to the vehicle of your choice and pull your own part but more often than not, you'd need a 4x4 (with no less ground clearance than a stock Cherokee. I've actually dragged my t-case crossmember a couple of times before I installed my lift) to get to it.

Dang, sounds like your junkyard is a mess lol. The one my dad and i go to lets you drive around inside, not much junk on the trails, but they get pretty narrow at points. Its bumpy and muddy but weve been through it in his 2wd dodge van, so not bad. Id worry too much about my tires if there was a bunch of metal junk to drive over. Also, in michigan pretty much everyone calls em junkyards, in B.C. canada where im at right now they call em pull/pick aparts. Its a regional difference i think

They totalled it. I only got 2800. Im still happy.

I pocketed 2800. Kept the jeep. They offered me 3200 so i bought it back for 400.

Ya the offered me 3k for a 90 xj i said heck ya got to keep my lift an sold my tires to a buddy bought 33s an upgraded to a 95 xj an them got another like 4k for medical
