his jeep is worth whatever someone will pay for it.
just because you think he is asking too much, doesnt mean you are right.
i sold a 99 wj with blown head gaskets and slipping tranny for $2000 on craigslist. i had a guy call and tell me i may as well scrap it because its worth nothing to him. 30 min later i had it sold for my asking price.(i paid $400 for it cuz thats all it was worth to me)
just gotta find the right person to buy it.

That seems really high. I bought my 98 XJ for $2450 w/168k very minor problems and its a FL only car. Which is fair market value for my area.
He should ask 2600-3000 obo, just to leave room for haggling.

IMO on CL you always list it higher then you think its worth so some one will buy it. i have mine listed on CL for $4500 but on here and NAXJA for $3000 if you can get some one to pay what you want go for it.

4 grand isn't out of this world. you always get lowball offers on craigs list anyways. this will get him closer to his selling price.
but i would update the pics with the front end on, he'll sell it a whole lot easier.

Not terrible if it runs well. On a side note, with that front clip missing all I could imagine is how cool that would look with a Grand Wagonner or J10 front end. If one could be modified to built.

I always list things a little higher on craigslist. You never know what kind of offers you'll get. This webiste is a Jeep specific website, so we all know what it's worth, unlike craigslist. Example, when I was selling my WJ, I listed it at $6500 on CL. It had 180k miles, and a few problems. I expected to get just under $5k for it. Got an offer the very next day for $5800. I didn't even negotiate, i said deal, took the money and ran!
he had it at 5,000 for like a day now bumped it down to 4,000 my thoughts are he can get around 3,000-3,500 but also gotta think that if you want to paint the front so it matches or not
