Cowl snorkel question

Same thing. Gravity is against you.

Water gets in at the highest point and with a direct cowl your intake is the lowest point.

Using the stock airbox, it becomes your lowest point and water then has to travel upward to get into your intake.

You pour a glass of water into your cowl inlet on a direct cowl with the filter in the middle, and the water goes through the filter and into your motor.

You pour a gallon of water into your cowl using a stock air box and the water just sets in the bottom of the airbox. Never getting into your motor.
