Been considering one for quite a while, and always had it on the bottom of my list as something I'd eventually pick up. I'm thinking of picking one up soon, if I can find a nice one with a nice price. I know a good number of them run around $300 or so, and want to know if I should just save up and go for one of those, or maybe find a deal elsewhere.
I came across this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Off-Road-Jee...ht_1618wt_1163 but am hesitant for the obvious reasons. I'm not considering homemade or anything, but want to know if there's a good deal out there. I might check the For Sale section, as well as CL.

That's the one im gonna buy for my new cherokee I just picked up. I made my last one for my 96 but for what I spent in materials and time spent making it I could have spent just a little more and gotten this Nockoff china made snorkel. I don't care that its a ARB nockoff and made in china id rather spend the 150 for a Nockoff then 300+ for a true ARB. When they are pretty much identical inevery way. The only thing different is that it doesn't have those 3 letters written across it. Id say go for it.

It says it comes with everything pictured, which shows what looks like all the needed parts, the nuts and bolts, and even an installation template. I'm only weary cause it's an Ebay one. But like you said, it's a practically identical knockoff.
that is the exact seller i purchased mine from. be ready to spend some time refitting and doing extra cutting because the template they have supplied is wrong or the snorkel mold itself is wrong. probably the mold because i had to heat up the snorkel a little bit to line up correctly with the A pillar so it would reach the mount. also the way the hose is suppose to be routed gets in the way of my tires off road no matter how i tried rerouting and cutting. i made a new hole just to the side of the intake instead of coming out of the bottom of the fender tub. i dont have any install pics but the finished product looks good.

I just posted up a wanted add for a TRUE ARB snorkle so I didn't have some stilled Chinese crap hanging the. Maybe 2 weeks later had one in the mail for $99 and a phone call to ARB got me the info for the stuff I needed and the template. After dealing with hydro locking my jeep for the 2nd time I didnt want to hcnave it again
Good luck

How does this one look? Any better?

This one too. It appears to be from the UK. Unsure of the overall quality though.

I'm considering the first one I originally posted since a few others bought it and didn't really have an issue. The two I posted earlier are iffy, I agree. Also I searched for you and got a few results. My FB is in my sig, send me a request when you can!
