So I see this on craigslist......I mean I dont see alot of them but near 5k for it? Is that normal? I have a buddy that has several in his yard and have seen a few at wrecking yards..........

I guess maybe they are something crazy special and im just clueless?

Hmmmm I see a few on cl from time to time and see several on the road where I am in florida maybe its a rarity too. I know they arent overally common but I didnt think they were overally sought after either. I just was like 4.8k for it yes it looks clean but that buys alot of jeep especially when we are talking older jeeps.

For a 2wd that is high........for me to spend that price it would have to be a 4x4 with the Eliminator package and factory roll bar.

I've never seen one on Craigslist near me. There was 3 at the junkyard but one in decent shape. Then a week ago the decent one disappeared. I hope it's getting restored.

Saw one on CL in Pennsylvania. Was listed at 8K. It was spotless though, inside and out.

This is what I was thinking and under this kind of mind set I guess clearly put by other posters they are almost "very" rare especially in certain areas.
