Seems like Chrysler is saying they'll put a "fake" solution on a "fake" problem if it makes everybody shut up. Now the NTSB is trying to save face by saying the "fake" solution doesn't increase the false sense of security enough.

I looked the other day at the recalls for my 1989 XJ, there was a couple for the brake system and one for the cruise control. I thought, humm new brakes and a cruise that works, then I remembered I removed the cruise modded the brake system. I figured that I would have been laughed out of the dealership.

Recall? What's that? I can't recall anything. I have "C.R.S.". Among other things, I thank the good lord every Sunday for this forum, my Cherokee that remembers me and that it remembers where I live.

So has there been any word on what they are going to do yet?
I only ask because our ZJ dos not currently have a hitch on it but we need to get one.
And there is no point in buying one if Dodge is going to want to replace it in the next month or 2 any way.
And the wife wants to know whats going on seeing as its her truck.
