Christmas 2011 is almost here! Attached is a pic of my Wrangler last Christmas as a yard ornament, and will build on that this year. I figured that the snotty neighbors would vehemently object, but suprisingly, they actually loved it. Everyone living around us really put extra effort in their own decorations.

Trying to come up with some neat "driveable" ideas for the Cherokee.

Let's see those pics!!

I'll be strapping a 4 foot light artificial tree to my roof rack this year. Not standing up of course. Haha. And maybe some lights on the cb antenna too. Ill take some pics when I get it all thrown together.

Do you have a big tree in your yard that looks like a Christmas tree that you pan park the Cherokee under like it's a big present?

Here's mine from last year, it was easily driveable. We have been decorating our vehicles for years. I usually run garland (don't use cheap stuff, it won't hold up), ornaments (make sure you super glue the bulb to the mount), and a couple strands of L.E.D. lights (you can run more if you use L.E.D.). Last year i went ahead and decorated the interior some. Gonna step it up this year a little just not sure how much.

Mudrunner makes me want to go all out.

Yea its a blast. The club has been doing the parade for years. It used to be a day parade but they changed to night a few years ago much more fun to see the lights. We have a few that walk the route to hand out candy to the kids.

I had a red XJ with a 3 inch lift and 31's with a grille guard when I was in 29 Palms in 2007. I went up to Big Bear for a weekend in December and put a wreath on the front of the grille guard which had red ribbon wound around it. I had wreaths attached to the rims as well. I haven't seen anyone else put wreaths on rims.

They have to be well fastened. I lost a few on the trails afterwards.

The next time I'm home for Christmas I'll get on with the lights and I'm going to make a huge santa hat for the top roof rack like someone has on their avatar here.

Then i'm going to put green and red lenses on the IPF's. I'm going to light the entire intrerior with red and green lights around the top and bottom edges. It's basically going to be a moving fire hazard.

When I was still in the Marines I was known as the guy with the pimpest room. I'm going to transfer those skills to the XJ.
