Choosing the right jeep
Nice Z lol. Mine is a hardtop touring package. And no, no one has ever told me about the exploding gas tank and what not. I know it may seem hard to switch from a Z to a jeep, but to be honest, I hunt, fish, help farm, etc. The Z just doesn't cut it anymore. It was my first car and I baby'd it all of the time. It just doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore. Sure, it might seem odd to go to law school with a moster jeep, but hey, I grew up in the middle of no where and it fits my wants and needs better. I originally looked for a truck, as stated before, because we own a few F150s on the farm, but I think the jeep will fit the bill.
Back on topic, though, yeah, I will get paid if I trade in my Z for an XJ, more than likely. I plan on doing two things with whatever I get for off road:
1) Mud. This thing will be covered head to toe pretty much almost every weekend.
2) Trails. I am near a lake or two and it has many OVH's. Would love to bring gear and camp.
I am not building a crawler, I am not building a tank. I simply needing something that is reliable off road, can possibly turn into whatever I want later on down the road, and is a good daily driver. I will take it hunting, camping, fishing, etc... I am an outdoorsman so I personally think either way I should be fine. However, I will use this thing as my DD. It needs to double well. Thanks for the input. I greatly appreciate it!
