Default chevy blazer brush guard

I've been wanting to get a brush guard for a while but couldn't really justify spending $300 to $500 on one. I was searching craigslist today and found a brush guard from a mid-90's chevy blazer for $30. I offered $20 (cause I always lowball the first offer) and they took it. They apparently didn't know how much it was worth and just wanted it out of their garage.
The bolt holes didn't line up with my jeep (obviously) but after some drilling a couple grade 8 bolts, and a strong back plate, I got it mounted to my stock bumper.
It's not near strong enough to host a winch, or to use as a recovery point, but it will serve its purpose of guarding my jeep from brush. check out the pics. It looks like it was made for my jeep.

Default Brush Guard

Dan4Governor:
Just wondering if you had any of the info. on the brush guard you installed on your 96 Cherokee. It looks, great, exactly what I'm trying to find for mine. If were to parts search it, any info you have that I could use?

All Others:
I just had an unfortunate Jeep-Deer accident with my 1995 Cherokee. (The Jeep won, but the deer did enough damage to set me back a few bucks) I am looking for any good deals on front bumbers, grill assembly, and quarterpanels. Also having T-Case issues if anybody has a lead on one of those... Thanks

all I can tell you is that it is from a mid 90's chevy blazer (when they were the smaller, boxier looking style). Good luck, sorry about the deer incident. You should know that the way I mounted it won't protect from a deer because its not bolted to the frame. I had to mount it to the bumper. it'll protect me from busting a headlight on a tree branch, but thats about it.
Good luck.
