one day you people will realize that unibody design is bull**** and maybe you can recognize real engineering when you see it. i would like to see someone up here put a carburated big block V8 into their XJs. just sayin. stop hatin. this guy is doin it haha

 

He had the color going in the right direction... everything else... wrong direction.

 

Also, the motor looks like a junk yard motor and too, check out the water in the floor board... $20k to build my A$$!.. Somebody probably had a old rusted out K5 sittin around and bought the XJ for nothing, throwed it on the frame and woobow.. there ya go. All i see they may have spent $ on is the wheels and tires, and the fuel cell.

i think xj's suck because of the unibody, but i think there awesome because of the leafs in the rear and the coils in the front. so you think everyone that puts frame stiffeners on is destroying there xj too? if xj's were just framed in the first place nobody would have to deal with the extra time and effort and money that goes into frame stiffeners

 

Did I say anything about adding to an xj? no I didnt. I have frame stiffeners on mine. If you think its such a poor design, then why do you have one? A xj wouldnt be an xj with a full frame TO ME. IMO I think taking a xj and putting it on a k5 frame is like people taking classic cars and slapping it on a truck frame. Some of them arent that bad. But also some are just a waste of a good body. I agree that a xj is awesome because of the leafs in the bac kand coils in the front. But really, in all honestly what seperates an xj from blazers or explorers with straight axles? besides having the solid 4.0 its the UNIBODY. It makes us different.
