Really....good info. Does anyone know what shipping would run for rims? I am looking into buying 1 at a time or if shipping would be cheaper to buy all 4 at once that's fine. I am lifting my jeep 4.5" or so, so how much backspacing should i get?

backspacing and lift aren't necessarily related. backspacing moves the backside of the tire/rim away from the suspension components. backspacing has more to do with how wide of a tire you decide to use. someone will correct me but i think the b.s. on a stock rim is 5". this is designed to be compatible with 225/75R15s, so when you use, for instance, a 31x10.50R15 the tire is quite a bit wider than stock and that b.s. puts it right up against the control arms. a smaller backspacing number # (4.00 - 3.75 - 3.50) will correct the resulting rubbing issues.

If you get Cragar wheels, most likely you arent gonna get much of an option on backspacing you want, especially with a 7" wide wheel. If you are running a 31x10.50 i would suggest no wider then a 7" wheel, a Soft 8 is standard with 4" backspacing and i have yet to see any other backspacing offered. Now Black Rock wheels are cheap as well and do come with a few more options on backspacing. Either way, go with a 7" wide wheel with 4" backspacing. Also, buy all 4 at one time! you buy individually and its gonna cost you more, also use a credit or debit card because if you order C.O.D. theres gonna be a 10 dollar or so charge per box so thats $40 bucks extra. Got to summitracing.com, look up wheels and select how many you want and it will tell you the total price, shipping and all..

shepWood,

saw these cragar rims on the PA craigslist. i'm sure you can prob talk the guy down on the price and paint them black.

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/1471039687.html

the only thing is these are 15x7 and not 16x8 (like you want - which for cragars will prob run u $60 per rim). but i got my 15x8 cragars (at $39.99 per rim) from summitracing all together for $171.75 (with $11.95 standard shipping).

happy shopping.
