If you want a really aggressive and wide stance then go 4" backspacing.

Most aftermarket steelies have about 4" off backspacing, give or take. 10" or 8" wide wheels will work. The 10" will be wide but IMO 8" is better because it will hold the bead better at lower psi.

with 33x12.5 tires, i would say 15x8 wheels with 3.75 backspacing. this will keep the rubbing to a minimal on the lower control arms.
you may rub still, but not as much as with 4 or more.

Something else I'd like to add:

A guy at my local 4x4 shop told me that wheels with less than 4" of backspacing will go through unit bearings faster because it puts the center of mass of the wheel out farther than it was designed for.

Not sure if it's true, but it made sense and he was much more knowledgable than I.

I also run 33x12:50x15's and a second set mounted on beadlocks of 35" same width. Both use the sane wheel width and BS a 15x8" for lower PSI on air downs than a 10" wheel and if at all possible a 3.75" BS.

Caged gave you the reason for the BS above, I bought a set of used 4" BS Steel D-Rings and they rubbed way to much off road at angles on mine, sold them a week later.
