If you have the money and like the color, go for it, but like the others I thinks its a bit overpriced, I would pay more in the 5k rage for that car, of course not that color.

They are honestly just over charging you for the mileage. You could probably find one in around the same shape in 4x4 with a little extra miles for a couple grand less. You can put 300,000 miles on that thing no problem so don't over pay to save on miles.

Keep looking for another XJ. It's way overpriced by about 3k and it's only 2wd. find a good 4x4 for the same price with some more miles on it for about 4k - 4500. Also, go through a private owner, not a dealer. Pretty much every dealer jacks up the price on XJ's 'cuz they know somebody will pay it. Be patient, do your homework on it, and find what you want for the right price.

What kind of stealership is this at? I was on the look for a cherokee and shopped every dealer in town that had one. I would say alomst every one except a couple were lot financing dealers. I just want to say, if it is a lot dealer stay away. This is way overpriced and looks like a buy here pay here deal. If you can pay cash you will get a better deal, but 8k is way over the top. I purchased mine from a private sale for almost half of what the dealers were asking. Mine was original to tennessee, the dealers were all from up north with rust. Stick with a private seller. 45k is great miles, but i have seen low mile older cars break down faster because they were driven very little, sat much longer, and had less maintenence. Low miles is not always the best way.
